By accessing or using the GapGrid mobile application and web services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

GapGrid is a platform for coordinating free time with friends. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using GapGrid, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (phone number login) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of any content (e.g., profile photos, bio, thread messages) you post on GapGrid. By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with providing the Service.

Prohibited Conduct: You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Post content that is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service.
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

5. Premium Subscriptions ("Pro Mode")

GapGrid may offer premium features (e.g., "Commitment Mode", expanded search) for a subscription fee. Subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (via Qonversion). Payment will be charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6. Safety and Real-World Interactions

GapGrid facilitates real-world meetups. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct criminal background checks on our users. Always exercise caution and use common sense when meeting people.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GapGrid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
